Welcome to the latest One Model product release update. This article provides an overview of the product innovations and improvements to be delivered on 21 August 2024.
User Experience Improvements
- We are pleased to introduce Custom Totals, an enhancement to the Table Totals feature. This new option allows users to create tailored totals, providing greater flexibility and control beyond the existing 'Auto Table Total' and 'Auto Sub Totals'. Users can add and customize total rows by navigating to Tile Settings > Table Totals and clicking the ‘Add a Total Row’ button. The settings can be expanded and updated to meet individual requirements, including text and background color customization. (ref 20606)
- When exporting tiles to CSV, we now also include any Filters that have been applied, as shown in the examples below. (ref 16134)
- We have made improvements to ensure the consistency of icon arrow sizes and appearances in the Define panel. This update addresses the inconsistent styles previously used for these arrows and icons, enhancing the visual coherence and user experience. (ref 20254)
Admin Improvements
- Admins with permission can proxy as another user to create and configure alerts for a distribution email address. This can be done by creating a One Model User with an email address as the distribution email address, and then proxying to configure alerts for that user. (ref 19453)
- Coming soon in release 2024.09.04, we will be adding an additional column in the user and roles, and delimited user and roles Admin Reports that indicates the last manual sync for bulk upload users. (ref 20897)
Minor Improvements & Bugs Squashed
- We fixed an issue where we couldn't save a subscription for an Alert based on a Data Source that has a comma in the name. (ref 20942)
- We also fixed an issue where Data Load notifications may not be sent due to a timeout limitation. (ref 19903)
- We fixed an issue where our Greenhouse connector could error when running Full Loads on endpoints with large datasets. (ref 20926)
- We Fixed the URL for the Details button in alerts for SFTP and Redshift Data Sources. (ref 20082)
- We have addressed and resolved an issue where subtotals for metrics were not calculating correctly in Storyboard tables. This fix ensures that all metric subtotals are now accurately computed and displayed. (ref 20838)
- We noticed that in certain scenarios, if a user accessed an embedded Storyboard, they could navigate to another page that showed the full menu bar but they could only access the features in line with their permissions. We have tightened up the experience to ensure that users are no longer able to navigate away from the embedded Storyboards. (ref 20888)
- We fixed a bug where, at times, annotations dragged outside the chart area. (ref 20628)
- We fixed a bug where the header line was not showing on export in some queries. (ref 15767)
- We fixed an issue where csv exports came out blank after filtering a list report on Top or Bottom # records. (ref 16923)
- We addressed an issue in One AI machine learning where target metric names containing certain special characters cause augmentation runs to fail. (ref 3401)
