Admin Improvements
- Now in beta, you can manually sync users whose roles have been updated by a bulk user upload instead of waiting until a user logs in for their roles to apply. This will make validation and testing of Application Access and Data Access Roles easier after a user has been modified through a bulk upload. We have also added the last manual sync column to the User and Roles, and User and Roles Delimited Admin reports. Learn more about sync roles for bulk user upload in this guide. (ref 20897, 20586)
Data Processing Improvements
- We have improved the alerts notification messaging for Data Destination to clearly communicate whether a run was completed, failed or rejected. In this release, we added messaging for runs that were rejected because a previous run for the same Data Destination was still in progress. The rejected run can be manually restarted or it will run again at the next scheduled time as we complete one Data Destination run at a time per Data Destination to avoid duplicate files. (ref 21000)
User Experience Improvements
- Annotations now also consider Pivoted Columns as part of the datapoint definition. (ref 19786)
- The Replace Storyboard Contents feature allows Storyboard Administrators to replace the tiles, tile contents, and the Storyboard filter template without altering the Storyboard ID. When 'Replace' is used with multi-page Storyboards, the Page IDs in the URL are recreated, resulting in broken links when users navigate between previously linked Storyboard pages or bookmarked pages. So we implemented an error message to alert users to a non-existent page or without a page ID so they can update the URL. Additionally, any linked tiles pointing to deleted pages will be redirected to the first page of the Storyboard to ensure smooth navigation. Learn more about the Replace Storyboard Contents feature in this guide. (ref 20799)
One AI
- We added an option to the manual run screen for the Commute Time augmentation that allows for specifying whether the data destination should be refreshed prior to fetching commute time data. Checking this box will refresh the destination. The current behavior will not change for scheduled runs which automatically refresh when running. (ref 3416)
Minor Improvements & Bugs Squashed
-
We have fixed a bug where the row height was varying in Custom Legends. (ref 20387)
Before: After:
- We have resolved an issue where the table subtotal feature would cause an error when two or more dimensions were pivoted. This fix ensures that users can now use more than one pivoted dimension in the query definition and apply subtotals without encountering any errors. (ref 21131)
- We resolved a bug where Target Metric names containing special characters were causing machine learning models to fail on running. (ref 3401)
- We addressed an issue where composite dataset IDs for persisted machine learning runs were causing them to fail. (ref 3007)
- We found a bug that when proxying as another user and then exiting proxy, the page returns a 403 forbidden error. The 403 error persists until the user clears their browser cache. (ref 21193)
