Introducing the One AI Assistant
The One AI Assistant is now available to all One Model Enterprise customers!*
- This powerful tool introduces a new generative AI capability allowing you to ask your questions in free text and get answers in the form of charts and tables that you can then further refine or use in Storyboards., Its intuitive interface allows you to seamlessly interact with your data, making it easy to add metrics, adjust dimensions, and refine selections. From exploring headcount trends to forecasting attrition and viewing employee engagement scores, the One AI Assistant simplifies complex tasks for users of all levels.
- *Before you get started using the One AI Assistant, your organization will need to review the One AI Assistant Information Pack to determine if the assistant is a good fit for your needs. Once reviewed, your organization must review and agree to a contract addendum. After this has been completed, your Customer Success Lead will activate the feature. For non-Enterprise customers, please reach out to chat about how you can get access.
- Access to the One AI Assistant is managed through an application access role, which allows you to enable it for select user groups or all end users. Site administrators configure which data the Assistant has access to, and it respects your existing role-based security, ensuring it aligns with your organization's privacy and security policies.
- The One AI Assistant shows its work - you can see the metrics and dimensions that are selected in response to your question, so users can have trust in the responses. There is also an option to provide feedback to help the One AI Assistant learn and improve.
- The One AI Assistant is a powerful advancement in people analytics, designed to enhance data-driven decision-making with ease and efficiency. We invite you to explore its capabilities and experience the value it can bring to your organization. Learn more about One AI Assistant here.

Reference Line
- We’re excited to introduce the Reference Line, a new Embedded Insight! Reference lines allow you to include a dashed line on any Basic Chart in Storyboards. In this first release, a static value can be defined for the location of the line. The value, line label, and line color can be controlled. The ability to add an overall average will be introduced in the next One Model release. (ref 3347)
Commute Time Augmentation
- We added controls for “Include Return Trip” and “Include Traffic” to the Commute Time data augmentation. By default these are toggled on when creating a new augmentation. If this additional data is not important for your commute time project, please toggle the options off. Doing so will reduce transactions with our mapping vendor. (ref 3425)
User Experience Improvements
Coming Soon
- We are also excited to share that we will soon release a vibrant new user experience, a glow up of our UI with more customization options, gradient colors, and easier access to the One AI Assistant. More information to follow in a later release. (ref 20569)
Storyboards
- Users can now see the Storyboard category in the settings panel from a Storyboard or Storyboard library. (ref 20846)
Annotations
- Now available to all users, annotations are a powerful way to make your charts and graphs not only more informative but also more engaging and accessible. Use annotations in Basic Charts to add commentary, provide context for a notable change in data, improve clarity and highlight focus areas for Storyboard users, designers and viewers. Learn more in the Annotations Guide. (ref 20967)
Admin Improvements
Home Page
- We have introduced a new feature that allows administrators to upload a custom PNG or JPG image to be used as the homepage background, providing more flexibility and personalization. Home Page Options include:
- One Model Homepage (Default): Use our pre-set image or upload your own.
- Storyboard as Homepage: Configure the display to show a specific storyboard. (ref 20370)
- We have moved these configuration settings from Admin > Company > Homepage to be accessed directly from the homepage via a new settings icon at the top right.

Data Loads
- We improved the message for Data Loads that have spent 12 hours in Cache Warming and they'll now show "Complete" instead of "Complete with Warnings" which was confusing. (ref 21010)
Minor Improvements & Bugs Squashed
- If the user selects the Funnel Data Labels of 'Percentages' or 'Values and Percentage' from Design > Metric Options, the percentages will now correctly use the first funnel step as the denominator for calculations, ensuring that subsequent steps reflect the proper percentage of the whole. (ref 20857)
- We fixed a bug, where in some instances, annotations were duplicated when inserted. (ref 21103)
