Release Notes - 2024.10.02

Welcome to the latest One Model product release update. This article provides an overview of the  product innovations and improvements to be delivered on 2 October 2024.

User Experience Improvements

UI Enhancements

  • As a part of our UI glow up, we have added a new Chart Background Color and Table Background color options with solid colors and opacity for enhanced visual appeal and flexibility. To make your changes, go to Storyboard Modify Mode > Tile Settings > Design > General > Chart Background Color or Table Background Color. (ref 20593, 21306)

Storyboard Tile Settings - Design

  • We have introduced a 'Chart Color Palette' selection in the Tile Settings > Design to enable you to easily update the color palette of individual charts for greater control over chart visualizations, especially Funnel and Sankey charts which cannot be changed in Explore. To access, go to Storyboard Modify Mode > Tile Settings > Design > Chart Color Palette to view and select your chart color palette. Users can select from predefined color palettes created in Explore > Edit Options > Chart Palette or use the default palette defined by the company. (ref 20253)

One AI

  • The Reference Line was just released but we already have a new variation. We’re excited to introduce the Average Reference Line. Available in all Basic Chart visualizations on Storyboards containing a single metric, the Average Reference Line calculates an average of all the numbers on the chart. This new feature is even available in time series charts and charts containing dimensional breakouts. (ref 3412)

  • We added the prompt to the header area of the image when exporting charts from the One AI Assistant. (ref 3453)
  • We created a Promotion Classification Model training module in One AI Academy. (ref 3513 / 3463)

Data Processing Improvements

  • A subscription to alerts for Data Loads that Error will now also get alerts for a Data Load that is marked as Incomplete. (ref 20963)
  • We've reinstated the "Search" feature for the "Select Definitions" dropdown on the Processing Scripts page so you can type in the processing or one schema table name and navigate the script by clicking on the name. (ref 20913)
