Data Alerts and Notifications

You can create a data alert by subscribing to receive an email notification about your data loads and data destinations.

To set up your alerts:

  1.  To set up your alerts you will need the CanConfigureNotifications. If you can’t complete the following steps, please contact your One Model Administrator.
  2. Click on the ‘User Account’ icon at the top right of the screen and select ‘Preferences’.
  • Open the ‘Notifications’ pane, and then click ‘Add New Subscription’.
    You will need to select:
    • Alert Category
      • Data Load
      • Data Destination
    • Notification Event
      • Data Load
        • Error
        • Complete
      • Data Destination
        • Error
        • Complete
        • Rejected - previous load still running
  • None and Incomplete are not selectable but users will get alerts for incomplete data loads if you subscribe to errors.

    • Delivery by email
      • None
      • Email
    • Selected Items
    • Actions
      • Delete

    • Complete the form and click ‘Save’.

  1. Once you have subscribed to receive an alert notification, an email with your data details, similar to what is shown below, will be sent to your email address. If you want to dig into the details, hit the 'Details' button and you will be taken to the page in the One Model application.

  1. Admins with permission can proxy as another user to create and configure alerts for a distribution email address. This can be done by creating a One Model User with an email address as the distribution email address, and then proxying to configure alerts for that user.

If you do not receive your subscribed alerts to your inbox, be sure to check your spam / junk folder.
