Release Notes - 2025.01.08

Happy New Year 2025 and welcome to the latest One Model product release update. This article provides an overview of the  product innovations and improvements to be delivered on 8 January 2025.

Admin Improvements

  • We are currently working on enhancements to how Chart Color Palettes are managed. In preparation for this change, we have added the following note to the Admin > Company page:

"Please Note: Chart Color Palettes will soon be moving from this page to a new location under Admin > Branding > Chart Color Palette".

The new page will enable administrators to configure the company Default Chart Palette and set a Primary Palette to apply this palette across the application. Charts with individually configured palettes will not be affected by this change. (ref 22381)

User Experience Improvements

  • We've introduced a new feature to customize a chart color palette specifically for individual charts directly in Storyboard modify mode. In Tile Settings, click on the Design tab, a new "Custom Palette for the Chart" option is available. This feature enables users to highlight specific charts with unique color schemes.
    Users can:
    • Add custom colors with an [Add Color] button.
    • Reorder the color boxes using drag-and-drop functionality.
    • Delete colors with the Delete (trash can / rubbish bin) icon. (ref 212910

  • We have added an option to change the font size for X and Y Axis labels on scatterplots. (ref 21908, 21907)

  • When Companies have the option “Enable RBS in Search and Apply in Filter Sets and Org Charts” turned on, and a contextual rule is set up where users are mapped to multiple entry points (RBS - one to many), they will now see both of those parent nodes in Filters and Org Charts. This is currently supported by the rule of ‘Theirs or One of Their Descendants’. Please speak with your Customer Success Lead about whether this is right for you and enabling this feature as it is behind a feature flag. (ref 14789)

Data Processing Improvements

  • Data Destinations will now run Processing Script validation on their Processing Scripts when they run (not just when the Processing Script is saved). This will help to troubleshoot problems when the underlying Data Model being referenced by the Data Destination has changed. (ref 19102)

Minor Improvements & Bugs Squashed

  • We fixed an issue where the "Standard Button > Normal Button - Text" setting was incorrectly controlling the color of linked text in the application. This has now been updated to function correctly. (ref 21558)
  • We have fixed a bug that prevented Node selections in Define when Contextual Security was applied. (ref 22520)
  • We resolved an issue causing charts to re-render several times in both Storyboards and One AI Assistant. Charts now render smoothly. (ref 3681)
  • We improved error messages in One AI Assistant to reduce ambiguity. Before this release, all errors displayed the message “Query could not be run”. Now errors are more descriptive, such as “No metrics detected”. (ref 3503)
  • The back arrow on the Admin Reports page that led you back to the Home Page was removed. The best way to navigate back to the Home Page is through the Home button on the main navigation bar at the top of the page. (ref 22211)
  • We added the back navigation from Explore in two more scenarios: Org Chart and editing a home page template. (ref 22347)
