Release Notes - 2025.02.05

Welcome to the latest One Model product release update. This article provides an overview of the  product innovations and improvements to be delivered on 5 February 2025.

Data Processing Improvements

  • Breaking News! We now have a Processing Script Test Mode that allows you to run Processing Scripts before promoting the script to Production. To use this, simply click the “play” button in the Processing Script page of a non-production version of your processing script ( note - if used for the Production script, this will trigger a normal Data Load!).  This new feature will be great for Data Engineers. (ref 22891)

  • Plus, we are making Processing Scripts easier to manage with:

      • The addition of Metadata fields to Processing Scripts. These are designed to help you plan your Processing Script changes, and to see what changes have been made in earlier Processing Scripts. Essentially, it is a space for you to write text for each version of the processing script. (ref 22030)

    • And Finally, we have made our Processing Scripts resumable in-case of an error. A “retry” button will be visible on the Data Load, as long as it errored during the Processing Script stage, and no other Data Load has reached this stage. This enhancement will be rolled out to environments gradually. (ref 22191)

One AI

  • We improved our chart type detection in One AI Assistant to automatically render a GeoMap visualization type when requesting a metric by a geospatial dimension. (ref 3661)

  • We added “largest” and “greatest” to the list of keywords that trigger sorting and filtering in One AI Assistant. (ref 3701)

  • We improved the accuracy of One AI Assistant’s matching to numeric dimension nodes. (ref 3731)

  • Our metric matching model in One AI Assistant was refined to better recognize common metric name patterns and improve exact matching from prompts. (ref 3718)

User Experience Improvements

  • We're excited to announce that Sync Roles for Bulk User Upload is now generally available (GA)! Previously, any changes to user roles required users to log in before updates took effect. With this enhancement, Admins can now manually sync role changes, ensuring updates are applied immediately—no more waiting for users to log in. This improvement streamlines user management and provides greater control over role assignments. Learn more in the Sync Roles for Bulk User Upload article (ref 20898)

  • The GeoMap lock is back! The lock icon was missing in tile settings in Storyboard Modify Mode which prevented you from controlling the view for Geomap and Org. Chart tiles. The lock icon is visible once again enabling you to manage your locked views once again. (ref 22258)

  • UPDATE 2025.02.10: We patched a bug with Geomaps. When an Admin would attempt to edit a Geomap via Modify Mode>Define, the image would return ‘Something went wrong with this query’. With this fix, you can edit your Geomaps again. (ref 22605)

  • The Pin to button in the One AI Assistant panel is now disabled for users without the necessary permissions, preventing confusion and ensuring a smoother experience. (ref 22429)

  • We've fixed an issue where the Export Chart button in One AI Assistant was not working consistently for some charts. Users can now reliably export charts, regardless of any modifications made. (ref 22692)

  • We fixed an Accessibility issue where the JAWS screen reader would not recognise certain menu options in charts. With this fix, the latest version of JAWS (2025.2410.106) will properly navigate the menu options, but please note the slight navigation change:

    • Use the tab  key  to navigate to the lightbulb or three action dots then press the enter key to open the tile menu options.
    • Once the menu is open, then use the up/down arrow keys to move between options. Do not use the tab  key while inside these menus.
    • To close the menu, press the Esc key at any time.
    • Resume using the tab  key to navigate around your instance.  Learn more about Accessibility in One Model. (ref 22245)

Minor Improvements & Bugs Squashed

  • We added a constraint in One AI Assistant requiring the CanEnableOneAIForecast permission in order to run a forecast on the chart when requesting “with a forecast”. (ref 3680)

  • We resolved a bug in One AI Assistant where both a dimension level and node were being selected, causing the node selection to be ignored. This made it possible for Key Value charts to display incorrect values. (ref 3747)

  • An issue with the filter selector not closing in One AI Recipes was resolved. (ref 3716)

  • We fixed an issue with toggling a chart to table view and back to chart removing reference line controls. (ref 3703)
