One AI Assistant Insights analyzes your data and generates key insights automatically. It is designed to help you quickly understand trends, outliers, and underlying patterns within your data in One AI Assistant without manually digging through complex visualizations.

How It Works

1. Data Analysis: The data behind the chart or table displayed in One AI Assistant is analyzed by One Model’s Insights Engine. Insight statements are constructed based on certain criteria about the data and the calculations they are derived from are retained. Your data does not leave One Model’s infrastructure during this step.
2. Ranking: The insight statements are ranked by a LLM (Large Language Model) in order from most interesting to least interesting. Only the top five insights are retained even if more are available. While the statements are sent to the LLM, the data behind the chart or table is not.
3. Recommendations: The insight statements are sent to a separate LLM that generates a business recommendation for each one.
4. Rendering: The insight statements, business recommendations, and work shown are displayed in a section below the query results in One AI Assistant.

Permissioning One AI Assistant Insights

Please note that granting access to One AI Assistant is a pre-requisite to accessing One AI Assistant Insights. See the One AI Assistant Configuration Guide for more information about configuring One AI Assistant.

Access to One AI Assistant Insights is controlled by the Application Access Role permission CanAccessOneAIAssistantInsights.

Using One AI Assistant Insights

1. Using One AI Assistant Insights is as easy as clicking the Show Insights icon below the chart or table in One AI Assistant. The icon will only be visible to users who have been granted access to Insights. Also note that insights are not available for the Key Value Data Visualization type.
2. Clicking the Show Insights icon will display the insights in a section below the query result.
   
   
   1. Checking the “Show Work” option will display the calculations used to derive the insight.
   2. The arrows navigate to the previous and next insights.
   3. Insights are removed if a new prompt is submitted or the query is modified and re-run. 

Troubleshooting

• No Insights Generated:
  • Remember that insights are not available for Key Value Data Visualization type.
  • It’s possible for a chart or table not to meet the criteria for any of the insight types.
• Unexpected Results:
  • Double-check that your chart settings match your intended analysis.
  • Review the Work Shown to understand the underlying calculations.
