Release Notes - 2025.03.05

Welcome to the latest One Model product release update. This article provides an overview of the  product innovations and improvements to be delivered on 5 March 2025.

User Experience Improvements

  • We have introduced Drag and Drop chip functionality to Define Queries in both Storyboards and One AI Assistant as well as in Storyboard Filters. You can now effortlessly reorder and move your metric, dimension, and column chips, making it quicker and easier  to reorganize query parameters and filters.

    Key Enhancements include:

    • Reorder Chips within categories for better query organization.
    • Move Chips across supported sections, like Dimensions and Pivoted Dimensions.
    • Filter Chips: Adjust the order of filters in Storyboards and charts using drag and drop.
  • We have removed the Beta label on the Define panel in Storyboard Modify Mode. We will continue to enhance the Storyboard Builder, but with the release of Drag and Drop, this feature is now Generally Available (GA). (Ref 19123, 20140, 21169 and 20773)

  • The eagle-eyed among you might notice a new icon for tiles when editing Storyboards.  Mentioning it here in case you are curious. This new icon provides the ability to copy the widget ID. You can copy the widget ID and paste that ID in a free text tile on the same page of a Storyboard or use the widget ID to identify specific widgets which will support some upcoming new features. (ref 22506)

  • We’ve made some improvements to the Funnel Chart. You can now drill through Funnel Chart sections to explore underlying data. When hovering over a label on a Funnel Chart the Series has been removed to only show the relevant data. (ref 20776 and 20772)
  • We overhauled the Admin > Application Access Roles page. Most notably you will see the “Create New” link in a button on the top right  and we introduced a new button for the Admin Report to Export User and Roles. (ref 19755)

Data Processing Improvements

  • Fixed an issue where Data Loads in Test Mode were not retryable if the Data Load errored. (ref 22820)

  • Added a more descriptive error message for the Processing Script for cases where a relationship between Table A and Table B incorrectly referenced fields that existed in Table C (as a relationship can only include references to fields from the two tables included in the relationship). (ref 22950)

Minor Improvements & Bugs Squashed

  • We resolved several issues with Bias Detection and Removal in One AI Machine Learning. This included the addition of a Favorable Column Name selector in the Bias Detection and Removal settings. Watch for an article in the One Model Help Center detailing Bias Detection and Removal to be released soon. (Ref 3756, 3752)

  • The Binary Promotion Analysis Recipe in One AI Machine Learning was renamed to Promotions to be more consistent with the naming of the other Recipes. (Ref 3670)

  • We updated the Label Override step in One AI Recipes to ensure consistency across various recipe types. (Ref 3655)

  • We improved the visibility of disabled checkboxes to ensure they appear clearly inactive when not in use. (Ref 22339)

  • We fixed a bug where tiles inadvertently carried over annotations that should have been tile-specific, causing confusion and inconsistency by ensuring that annotations do not remain linked after a tile has been copied. (ref 22754)

  • We fixed a bug where deleted annotations were still appearing. (ref 22871)

  • Resolved a bug where an "An error occurred processing your request" message appeared when attempting to change the visualization type in the Define section. (Ref 23086)
