Release Notes - 2025.04.16

Welcome to the latest One Model product release update. This article provides an overview of the  product innovations and improvements to be delivered on 16 April 2025.

One AI

  • Introducing iteration in One AI Assistant! Get more from your interactions with the assistant with this new iterative history feature. Easily scroll up to review past results and engage with them directly. Instead of overwriting, each new prompt builds upon your existing conversation, creating a seamless and persistent history until you refresh or navigate away. (ref 3828)
  • You can now navigate to any page of Storyboards from One AI Assistant. Where in the past selecting a Storyboard result navigated you to the first page, each individual page result is now a separate hyperlink. Clicking on the Storyboard title still brings you to the first page, as it did in the past.

User Experience Improvements

  • We are excited to announce that the Insight Library now provides previews for saved visualizations. Previously, all visualizations (except Org Charts) displayed a message saying "Preview of insight coming soon...". Users can now preview their saved insights, making it easier to identify them at a glance. Additionally, a new welcome screen has been included, which appears before a selection is made. (ref 11816)

  • We upgraded the underlying toolset that powers most of the charts in the One Model Storyboards and One AI Assistant.  Initially we are just making sure that we have maintained close parity with all existing features, but please let us know if you find anything strange! You might notice some small but mighty changes to your changes such as softer rounded edges on bar charts, pie charts, and Sankey as we continue to make enhancements to charts. More charting fun coming in the near future! (ref 23031)
  • We announced the new Images in Storyboards capability in the last product release and here are a bunch of improvements we had already queued up:
    • We have added pagination to the Image Management list table to improve navigation and performance when handling large image sets.
    • Admins can now edit the titles of previously uploaded images using a new edit (pencil) icon. Title validation ensures uniqueness and limits entries to 140 characters, with a red border indicating duplicates.
    • In addition to the existing size options (Stretch, Contain, Cover, and Actual), we have introduced new positioning options for images in Storyboard Tiles. Users can now place images at Top, Center, or Bottom, with Left, Center, or Right alignment, providing greater control over layout and design.
    • To ensure performance and prevent excessive storage use, a storage limit of 200MB as the aggregate size of all images uploaded in the Image Management page. If the limit is exceeded, admins must remove existing images before uploading new ones, and the upload button will be disabled until space is available.

Data Processing Improvements

  • We removed a Processing Script Validation Warning that was designed to encourage users to use round(<decimal>), floor(<decimal>), or ceiling(<decimal>) instead of cast(<decimal> as int). The feedback we received from Data Engineers was that this wasn't very useful and they therefore weren't interested in fixing those warnings. (ref 23332)

Minor Improvements & Bugs Squashed

  • We resolved an issue where subtotals failed to display correctly when a split time dimension was used in pivot tables. (ref 23598)
  • We made a small change to subtitles in charts on Storyboards so that they will be disabled if they are left blank. If you choose to show the subtitle and enter text, then your subtitle will appear as expected. (ref 23632).
  • We resolved an issue with scatter plot charts overflowing the container in One AI Assistant and Storyboard query designer when correlations are enabled. (ref 3855)
  • A bug causing Storyboard Navigation in One AI Assistant to not respect proxying was resolved. (ref 3865)
  • We implemented a better way to identify the selected timeperiod dimension in One AI Assistant. (refs 3856, 3871)
  • We addressed a bug where forecasting was not rendering in certain circumstances even when toggled on. (ref 3816)
  • We resolved an issue with filters on Storyboards which prevented selected filters from loading. The issue was identified, resolved and patched into production on the same day. (ref 23756)
  • We are aware of a bug with custom chart legends that sometimes causes the chart to flicker and continually reload. The fix will be applied shortly. (ref 23861)
