Welcome to the latest One Model product release update. This article provides an overview of the product innovations and improvements to be delivered on 28 May 2025.
User Experience Improvements
- We’ve added an “In-Step Legend” feature to Funnel Charts, enabling users to display step names directly within each funnel segment. Great for end user readability and simplicity. When enabled, this setting replaces standard legend positioning, also now including options for font size, color, and bold text. By default, the In-Step Legend is off, preserving existing legend behavior (ref 23271).
SSH Key Authentication for External SFTP Data Sources
🚀 What's New
We’re excited to announce the release of SSH Key Authentication support for External SFTP Data Sources in One Model!
With this new feature, customers can now securely connect to their externally hosted SFTP servers using SSH private keys, in addition to the existing username/password authentication method.
🔐 Key Capabilities
-
Flexible Authentication Methods
When setting up a new External SFTP Data Source, users can now choose between:
-
Username & Password
-
SSH Private Key (with optional passphrase)
-
Username & Password
-
Secure & Scalable Integration
Use SSH keys to align with enterprise security standards and automate data ingestion from third-party SFTP environments without storing passwords.
-
Optional Passphrase Support
Encrypted SSH private keys are supported, with the ability to provide a passphrase during configuration.
Help Center Improvements
- We have added generative search to the One Model Help Center to provide AI-generated answers to your search queries. Generative search works by evaluating the question or phrase entered into the help center search box with the articles in the Help Center to generate an answer. For best results, avoid one or two-word search queries, and instead, structure your query as a phrase, sentence, or question. Be sure to give it a thumbs up if it got it right or a thumbs down if it didn’t.
Minor Improvements & Bugs Squashed
- Users will now see a success message for more actions, such as, after successfully completing Storyboard settings edits and saves and duplicating an insight in the Insight Library (ref 23965)
- In the previous release, we introduced the beta version of Storyboard Notifications. As part of ongoing improvements, we’ve added a temporary restriction: users cannot configure Storyboard Notifications while using the "Proxy as User" feature. Proxy access itself remains available, however this safeguard only prevents notification setup during proxy sessions to avoid misconfiguration. It will be lifted once the underlying issue is resolved (ref 24143).
- We have fixed a small issue where exiting Storyboard edit mode, after hiding or showing a title in a free text tile, would not prompt the user to save changes (ref 23713)
- We fixed a bug that caused overlapping chart legends on charts exported as images from Explore. (ref 24053)
- We fixed a bug with drillthrough on Storyboards where the x close icon had disappeared from tiles without a title (ref 23827)
