One AI
One AI Assistant Answers
- One AI Assistant Answers expand the capability of One AI Assistant by guiding users through data-supported answers to key questions and topics that are curated by the experts at your organization. (ref 3724, 3916)
- Key benefits of One AI Assistant Answers include:
- Lower the barrier to data exploration: Empowers users to access trusted, curated information without needing technical knowledge of creating visuals and checking for accuracy. This interconnectedness fosters a more holistic understanding of topics and encourages deeper engagement with the available information.
- Admin-controlled accuracy: Ensures responses are based on vetted Storyboard visuals, so users are guided to approved and reliable content.
- Natural and intuitive experience: Users can explore by browsing topics, following related questions, or asking their own—in plain language. This leads users through curated pathways of information and fosters a more intuitive content consumption experience within One Model.

Other One AI Enhancements
- We added a message to One AI Assistant reminding users that AI content might be present and reminding them to check for accuracy. A link to One AI Assistant's AI usage documentation is included. (ref 3965)
- We introduced an Application Access Role permission named CanAccessOneAIAssistantInsightRecommendations that makes the inclusion of AI generated recommendations in One AI Assistant Insights configurable by role. (ref 3955)
User Experience Improvements
Waterfall Chart
- Let’s welcome the Waterfall Chart to One Model’s visualisation library!!!! When most people hear “waterfall chart,” they think of finance teams explaining profit margins or budget deltas. But waterfall charts have a lot more to offer, especially to HR teams trying to tell the story behind their numbers.
- HR leaders are asked every day to explain workforce shifts: Why did headcount grow? Where did attrition hit hardest? How are internal moves like promotions and transfers shaping the workforce? A waterfall chart breaks a total value into its component parts across time, showing what changed along the way. You see where you started, which factors drove increases or decreases, and how you ended up where you are. This structure is ideal for HR data, where metrics are constantly in motion. Headcount rises and falls, employees move between departments, people leave and new hires join. The beauty of a waterfall chart is that it doesn’t just show what changed - it shows how and why it changed. Learn more in our Waterfall Chart Guide. (ref 23125)
Funnel Chart
- To make it easier to build and showcase new features like Span Metrics, Conversion Rates, and In-Step Legends, we’ve updated the default settings for new Funnel chart visualizations. Updated Defaults: Neck Height (%): 0, Neck Width (%): 40, Data Label – Shadow: Off, Data Label – Position: Outside - Aligned, Show In-Step Legend: On, Data Label – Size: 14, In-Step Legend Size: 14. Note: The Conversion Rate feature is still in beta, so if a funnel contains many steps or very small percentage values, you may wish to disable this feature for clarity. Designers are encouraged to use discretion and adjust settings based on the specific use case and data range. (ref 24493)
Data Processing Improvements
- Want to have a good understanding of how everything joins together in One Model? What you need is the Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) and you can now download an ERD for your One Model instance at any time and it will be generated based on your latest data model. The ERD provides a visual representation of the relationships between entities in your One Model schema, illustrating how data is connected, stored, and organized. This is the first release of this new capability, so feel free to send through feedback. (ref 24298)
- NB: This feature will start to become available a couple of days after the release first goes live.
Minor Improvements & Bugs Squashed
- We fixed a minor issue where the data labels could slightly flicker in a Sankey diagram when a filter was applied. This was patched to the production environment on 20 June 2025 (ref 24683)
- We fixed an issue where the Save button in the Home Page Settings panel appeared incorrectly due to default image assignment. It now only enables when actual changes are made. (ref 24688)
- We resolved a small issue where navigating from a Funnel chart on a Storyboard to the Explore page would throw an error. (ref 24465)
- We fixed an issue where, in very specific scenarios for certain charts, especially stacked charts, an error "Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'format')" occurred during rendering. This error prevented the chart from being displayed as expected. (ref 24417)
- We resolved an issue where tiles filtered by Top or Bottom X were erroring on CSV export. The fix ensures tiles with Top or Bottom X filters applied can now export CSVs successfully. (ref 24251)
- We fixed an issue where exporting an Org Chart from a storyboard tile resulted in a blank PNG image. This issue occurred specifically when exporting directly from the storyboard tile. Other export paths (e.g. full storyboard export to PPT and export from the Org Chart page) worked as expected. (ref 23633)
- We fixed an issue where users were able to delete all colors from a color palette and still save it. The intended behavior requires at least one color to be present in a palette. (ref 24190)
