Release Notes - 2025.11.26

Welcome to the latest One Model product release update. This article provides an overview of the product innovations and improvements to be delivered on 26 November 2025.

One AI

  • In this release we made several enhancements to One AI Assistant Answers. First and foremost, the ordering of the questions in the assistant for each topic now follows the order listed on the configuration screen. This applies to "Other questions related to this topic" below each Answer as well as requests for "what questions can you answer about X?". We also improved the configuration experience for Answers. When adding and configuring a new question, the question will remain in the "No Topic" category until the Save button is clicked rather than moving when the Topic is changed. (ref 4080)

  • We improved handling of incomplete configuration of One AI Assistant. If capabilities of the assistant are enabled but not configured (granted access to metrics, dimensions, Storyboards, or Answers depending on capability), a clear error message is now displayed. Example: "You have not granted One AI Assistant access to any metrics. Please review the configuration guide." (ref 3963)

User Experience Improvements

  • An update for our Storyboard designers - You can now multi-select metrics, dimensions, and columns in the Define panel, plus we have introduced a new search feature for dimension nodes so you no longer have to navigate complex hierarchies. This enhancement eliminates repetitive panel openings, making your chart creation workflow more efficient and intuitive.

  • We're happy to announce that the improved filter experience you recently saw in Waterfall charts has now been rolled out to all other chart types in the Define tab.  All chart types are now supported, with Scatterplots coming next.
    • Quick Node Selection: When you choose a dimension to filter by, the node selection panel now opens automatically – one less click!
    • At-a-Glance Clarity: The filters applied now appear as chips in the Filters section, giving you an instant, clear view of all active filters on your charts.

Data Processing Innovations

  • We've added the ability to see the settings for both Processing Scripts in the Processing Script Comparison View. This allows users to see whether the settings have changed between the two settings being compared (ref 26127)

Data Source Improvements

Previously, deleting a data source did not remove its associated staging tables from the data warehouse.

Now, when deleting a data source, a new checkbox option, "Remove staging tables from the data warehouse," is presented. If this option is selected, the tables belonging to that data source will be deleted. The schema for the data source will remain.

Minor Improvements & Bugs Squashed

  • We have made a small workflow improvement when selecting a single metric in the Define so that the selection view now automatically closes (ref 26288)
  • We have made a small enhancement to enable you to use the special characters <, >, -, and = in your dimension labels. Please note that the colon (:) will not work in these labels and should be avoided. (ref 25949)
  • Fixed an issue where users running only part of the SQL in SQL explorer would adjust the url of SQL explorer to only contain the SQL that was executed. This could lead to users running a single query, refreshing the page, and therefore seeing none of the other queries that they were previously editing (ref 25851).
  • Fixed an issue where a horizontal scrollbar was appearing on the tables and columns pane in SQL Explorer (ref 25191)
