Welcome to the latest One Model product release update. This article provides an overview of the product innovations and improvements to be delivered on 03 March 2026.
One AI
Analyze Storyboard tiles in One AI Assistant – Users can now send any Storyboard tile straight to One AI Assistant for analysis via a new “Analyze in the Assistant” option in the tile’s 3-dots menu. This opens the Assistant, automatically selects Analyze mode, and adds the tile’s table or chart to the current thread (or starts a new one).
This option is available to users with the Application Access Role permission ‘CanAccessOneAIAssistantAnalyze’ and will not appear for Key Value, text, or org chart tiles. As always, be mindful that the tile’s data is sent to OpenAI when analyzing (ref ON-4110).
User Experience Improvements
- Pre-announcing here that in the next product release on March 18, we will have changed the way our Explore and Storyboard queries work so they no longer return a count connected to an unfilterable “Unknown” that represent employees who map to a level in the Dimension that is higher than the one selected (more information available here).
-
We will also remove the 'Beta' label from the Expand & Collapse functionality in Storyboard List Tables. This label was previously maintained due to the 'True Blanks' phenomenon mentioned above.
-
SQL Explorer
- We added a new feature for users to be able to view the SQLquery behind a One Model chart or table and see the details in SQL Explorer. This will be available for all users who have access to SQL Explorer, and can be accessed using the menu button on tiles in a storyboard (ref 25677)
Data Integration
- We fixed an issue with the Universal Connector where you could previously add headers and parameters without any data and saving this configuration could result in duplicate data. This has been prevented now and you should see validation messages for headers, parameters and keys below each field. (ref 27152)
- In some unique circumstances it could be possible that a user is unable to delete a data source. The user should see a proper error message in the error notification as opposed to status code when deleting an API data source. (ref 26928)
- One Model's Redshift data source connector now supports date filed precision to the millisecond level of detail. (26748)
- We have added support for incremental data with the Universal Connector. Check out the Universal Connector guide for more information. (ref 25176)
Minor Improvements & Bugs Squashed
- We updated a text mismatch in the Insight Library preview pane. The header now correctly displays the friendly welcome message “Welcome to the Insight Library!” (ref 27095).
- We have fixed an issue where tiles created before the introduction of the 'Filters' option in Define would fail to load in the Insight Library. Legacy tiles using filters will now correctly render and are fully compatible with current filtering logic (ref 27044).
- We have resolved an issue where Scatterplot tiles would display a missing node error when filtered by dimensions not explicitly used in the Points or Breakdown fields (ref 26952).
