Welcome to the latest One Model product release update. This article provides an overview of the product innovations and improvements to be delivered on 13 May 2026.
User Experience Improvements
- Percent of whole in table visualisations: When Table Totals are enabled with Sum aggregation, you can now display values as percentages of the total alongside - or instead of, the raw values. Choose from Values, Percentage, or Values and Percentage (displayed as e.g. 1,200 (42.0%)) in the total row settings. Percentages are calculated per column, and if a denominator is zero the cell displays, rather than an error. Note: this feature is currently available to eligible customers only (ref 27672).
- Tile usability improvements: A handful of Storyboard improvements in this release.
- Tiles that return ‘no data was returned for the query’ can now be duplicated, retaining all query and configuration settings so you can iterate without starting from scratch (ref 28130).
- We have improved KPI tile responsiveness. The chart area now dynamically resizes to accommodate expanded filter sections, removing unwanted scroll bars and ensuring a cleaner look on your storyboards (ref 27809).
- We have implemented internal upgrades so that if an individual tile encounters a data error, the rest of your Storyboard remains stable and functional. This prevents local tile issues from impacting your overall dashboard experience (ref 27861).
- Button hover states refreshed: Buttons across the platform have a subtly updated hover style. The previous glow effect has been replaced with a cleaner background colour shift that better aligns with One Model's design system. Disabled buttons are unaffected, and there are no changes to button sizing, padding, or layout (ref 27513)
We have updated the page Data Access Roles > Columns. It now includes a Search functionality as well as the option to display column labels alongside column names. If, for some reason, you need access to the previous version of the page, you can do so by changing the end of the web address (URL) to /DataAccessRoles/Columns?id=[RoleID]. Note that this legacy path will be removed in a future release.
API
- Workday - Rating Scales now available: One Model now retrieves Rating Scale data from Workday via the Get_Rating_Scales endpoint, introduced in Workday v42.2. This data is used to translate performance review values; such as text-based ratings, into numeric scales, supporting richer performance data in your implementation (ref 27654)
- SuccessFactors connector updated: Minor internal updates to the SuccessFactors configuration page. No changes to functionality or how you work with SuccessFactors data (ref 27616).
Minor Improvements & Bugs Squashed
We've made a batch of small fixes and improvements across One AI Assistant and Storyboard tile Insights, making Insight generation more reliable, error messaging clearer, and a few admin workflows smoother.
- We have resolved an issue where generating Insights on a chart with multiple metrics would fail with an "Exceeded retry limit" error. This occurred when a metric series contained a zero value followed by a non-zero value, causing an unhandled division by zero in the Insights engine. Insights now generate successfully for these data combinations. (ref 27891)
- We have resolved an issue where the "Start Again" button would become unresponsive after a global error occurred within the One AI Assistant. Clicking 'Start Again' now correctly resets the Assistant's state and clears previous prompts, allowing you to continue your session immediately without needing to refresh your browser. (ref 27880)
- We have also improved messaging for when Insights could not be produced for a result. The Assistant now displays a message 'No insights could be generated for this visualisation.' instead of an error. Storyboard tiles with the same empty Insights condition will now display the same error message rather than showing a blank/empty insight panel. (ref 27880)
- We have improved the experience when Insights are triggered on a single data point in a chart in both the One AI Assistant and Storyboard Tiles. Instead of displaying a confusing error 'Exceeded retry limit...', an informational message 'No insights could be generated for this data.' - allowing you to continue your session without interruption.(ref 27862)
- We have fixed a bug in Admin > One AI Configuration where clicking and dragging inside a text input field in the Answers section would trigger row reordering instead of selecting text. You can now select, copy, and paste text in those fields as expected. Drag and drop reordering continues to work when dragging from the dedicated drag handle (ref 27879)
- The visualization sub-type labels in the Example Prompts Type dropdown in Admin > One AI Configuration have been updated. The chart type name has been removed from the label - options now show as "Visualization" with their associated icon only. No behaviour has changed. (ref 27975)
