2026 June 10 - Release Notes

  • Updated

Welcome to the latest One Model product release update. This article provides an overview of the  product innovations and improvements to be delivered on 10 June 2026.

One AI

  • One AI Assistant - Iterative prompts now extend Visualizations: You can now refine an existing chart using short, conversational follow-up prompts. For example, type “add terminations”, “split by department”, or “show last 6 months” and the Assistant merges your follow-up with the current chart parameters and re-renders the updated visualisation. No need to restate your full query (ref 28367).

User Experience Improvements

  • AI Insights now available on List Tables! The List Table now supports the same Describe tab options as the KPI Tile and Basic Chart. When editing a List Table in Storyboard Modify Mode, open the Describe tab to add an Insights section. Three content types are available: Static Text (manual input), Auto Insights (embedded One AI Assistant insights), or Custom Insights (Analyze) using a default or custom prompt. Insights display below the table, with the same styling controls and permissions as the existing KPI Tile and Basic Chart implementations (ref 26364).

  • Share Storyboard with individual users: You can now give users the ability to share with other users only, without giving them access to share with other roles. The permission  CanShareStoryboardWithUser is now a standalone permission, without requiring CanShareStoryboards as a prerequisite. You can find the updated help article Sharing Your Storyboards here. Related improvements include (ref 27960):
    • User search when sharing remains governed by the Share With Permission and is now limited to active users only  (ref 28306)
    • Ability to share an unpublished Storyboard as view-only to other users has been added. The owner is automatically added to the individual user list with edit rights to prevent loss of access  (ref 28182).
    • A bug where a Storyboard was unshared from previous Data Access Roles after a subsequent user with a subset of these Data Access Roles shared the Storyboard has also been fixed:  When users share a Storyboard, only roles within their Share With permission scope are affected. Roles outside their visibility remain unchanged.  (ref 28262)

Data Integration Innovations

  • The Universal connector now supports Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and can fetch data from Google APIs such as Calendar and Gmail using authentication via Workload Identity Federation (WIF), which allows organisations using GCP to authenticate without long-lived credentials (ref 26856).

  • Import and export functionality is now available on the SuccessFactors connector (ref 27988).

  • An Import / Export button has been added to the Taleo API data source (ref 27776).

  • The Generic API connector now URL encodes parameter values when building request URLs, preventing issues caused by special characters in parameter values (ref 27093).

  • The Generic API connector now only prompts for credentials when the base or relative URL changes, reducing unnecessary interruptions during configuration (ref 27092).

  • Users can now add optional fields when configuring client credentials authentication in the Generic API connector (ref 25774).

  • The API run page now features a sticky header row and improved horizontal scrolling on smaller screens, making it easier to navigate large result sets (ref 28446).

Minor Improvements & Bugs Squashed

  • Validation has been added for Snowflake Data Destinations to prevent failures caused by unsupported underscores in the account hostname (ref 28360).

  • Fixed an issue where large metric queries in Data Destinations could cause the Data Destination run to get stuck (ref 27667).

  • Resolved an error that could occur when deleting object keys at the end of a data load (ref 23996).

  • The spacing between icon buttons on the page header has been reduced from 16px to 8px, bringing it in line with the navigation bar for a cleaner, more consistent look across the top of the page (ref 28343).

Coming Soon

  • New permission for ‘Analyze’ from Storyboards: In the next production release (scheduled for 24 June 2026), a new Application Access Role permission CanAccessOneAIAssistantAnalyzeFromStoryboard will be introduced. This will control the “Analyze in the Assistant” option on the Storyboard tile three-dot menu, and Custom Insights on Storyboard tiles. The existing CanAccessOneAIAssistantAnalyze permission is unchanged and continues to apply to Visualizations and Answers configured through One AI Config.
    • The new permission defaults to OFF for all roles - there is no automatic migration.
    • CanAccessOneAIAssistantAnalyze is a prerequisite for the new permission.
    • If users in your organisation currently use Analyze on Storyboard tiles or Custom Insights, you will need to grant CanAccessOneAIAssistantAnalyzeFromStoryboard to the relevant Application Access Roles before the release to maintain their access
