Welcome to the latest One Model product release update. This article provides an overview of the product innovations and improvements to be delivered on 24 June 2026.
User Experience Improvements
- You can now pin tiles from the Insight Library straight to the Home Page. Multi-select is supported, so you can build out a Home Page from several Insights in a single action. The Home Page destination is available to users with the CanEditHomePageDashboardTemplate permission. (Ref 28547)
- New permission for 'Analyze' from Storyboards: A new Application Access Role permission, CanAccessOneAIAssistantAnalyzeFromStoryboard, has been introduced. It controls the ""Analyze in the Assistant"" option on the Storyboard tile three-dot menu, and Custom Insights on Storyboard tiles. The existing CanAccessOneAIAssistantAnalyze permission is unchanged and continues to apply to Visualizations and Answers configured through One AI Config.
- The new permission defaults to OFF for all roles - there is no automatic migration.
- CanAccessOneAIAssistantAnalyze is a prerequisite for the new permission.
- ℹ️ To give users access to Analyze on Storyboard tiles or Custom Insights, grant CanAccessOneAIAssistantAnalyzeFromStoryboard to the relevant Application Access Roles. (Ref 28544)
- AI Insights are now available on Pie Charts, GeoMaps, Scatterplots, and Key Value Text Tiles. You can now add Static Text, Auto Insights or Custom Insights (Analyze) directly underneath these visualizations - bringing them in line with KPI Tiles, Basic Charts, and List Tables. In Storyboard Modify Mode, head to the new Describe tab to find the Insights section. Styling controls (text style, size, colour, background, area height) and permissions behave exactly as they do on the KPI Tile. Note: Auto Insights aren't available on Key Value Tile as insights need multiple data points to find something meaningful to surface. (ref 26366, 26365, 26368, 26367).
- Navigation Bar Upgrades: We’ve modernized the main navigation and account menus. We have improved the keyboard navigation, provided smoother animations, and utilize smarter layout positioning to prevent them from cutting off on smaller screens (ref 28479)
Data Integration Innovations
Universal Connector updates
- Added support for duplicate query parameters in request URIs, enabling data retrieval from Claude APIs. (ref 28656)
- Introduced validation for dependent tasks to ensure they can run incrementally. (ref 28242)
- Added BambooHR API icon, along with their templates to the Data Source configuration settings. (ref 27817)
Added JIRA API icon, along with their templates to the Data Source configuration dialog. (ref 27969)
Other updates
- The CSV Connector now supports integration with Google Cloud Platform and can retrieve data from Google Drive and Google Sheets. (ref 28666)
- Added validation for SFTP public key formats when configuring SFTP data sources. (ref 27494)
- We enhanced the Universal Connector to support data from PeopleDoc. The previous PeopleDoc connector has now been deleted. (ref 27454)
- We updated the Data Source configuration settings under the icon for the Culture Amp API connector. (ref 27818)
- We increased the retry attempts and added a 5-minute retry delay for database loading event messages otherwise if the retry was triggered too quickly it could cause issues. (ref 28074)
- We improved the SuccessFactors API Connector OData entity selection tree with slide-in drill-down navigation and entity search/filtering. This also better handles text wrapping for long entries. (ref 28607)
- Cloning the Generic API data source doesn’t copy the end points configuration when the ticket was created. As part of this, make sure we are copying all the new configuration(Endpoints, Variables, etc.,) (ref 21477)
We fixed PGP decryption failures by checking if the file is encrypted before attempting decryption. (ref 28535)
Minor Improvements & Bugs Squashed
- We added some validation to the Hostname field for Snowflake to prevent users from saving underscores, as these are invalid characters for Snowflake hosts (ref 28537).
- We've found and blocked some edge-cases that allowed users to promote invalid Processing Scripts to Production (ref 28322)
- We fixed an issue with the One AI Assistant AI Mode so it no longer errors when the Answers role is assigned but no Answers are configured. It now falls back to standard behaviour (ref 28540).
- Pin to Storyboard options are now hidden in Explore, Org Chart, and Global Insights for users who don't have permission to view Storyboards. Previously the options were visible but non-functional for these users - they'll now only see actions they can actually complete (ref 28338).
