2026 August 08 - Release Notes

Welcome to the latest One Model product release update. This article provides an overview of the  product innovations and improvements to be delivered on 5 August 2026.

User Experience Improvements

• The Exports page has been redesigned to bring it in line with the look and feel of the rest of the application. The basic functionality remains unchanged, but the page does have a new web address: https://[One Model Domain]/App/Exports. (Ref 29147)

One AI Assistant fixes

• Previously, running Analyze through the One AI Assistant, or running custom Insights on a Storyboard tile, could fail with the error “The prompt could not be run with the chosen tool. Please update your prompt and try again.” The cause in both cases was a query containing two or more metrics, dimensions, or columns with the same name, such as a calculated metric named identically to an existing metric. Analyze and Insights now complete successfully on queries that include duplicate names. (Ref 29262, 28167)
• We fixed an issue where pinning a visualization from the AI Assistant panel on the Explore page and choosing to navigate to the storyboard left you on the Explore page instead of loading the storyboard. (Ref 29135)
• The One AI Assistant now applies the Allow Drill Through visualization setting consistently with storyboard tiles. When the option is disabled for a Storyboard visualization (introduced in the 2026.07.08 product release), drill-through is now also unavailable when analyzing it in the Assistant. (Ref 29060)

Data Integration Innovations

• Workday data sources now offer a Batch worker requests by effective date toggle. Enabling it groups worker requests by effective date, which should reduce the number of API calls made during worker data extractions and lighten the load on your Workday tenant. The toggle is set per Workday data source. (Ref 26753)
• The API Runs page now shows processing messages for batched tasks, not just for non-batched ones. Where an error occurs during a batch process, the Messages column shows a count greater than zero, and opening it displays the full message detail in the same way it already does for non-batched tasks. This makes it easier to diagnose a failed extraction without raising a support request. (Ref 25404)
• We reduced lock contention in the data loading service when processing JSON-extracted table messages, which should improve throughput for JSON-sourced data loads. Some locking remains in place, and further work is planned. (Ref 27762)

Data Processing Innovations

• We fixed an issue where two or more Data Destinations sourcing from the same table could error if they tried to extract from that table at the same time. Concurrent extractions from a shared source table now complete without conflict. (Ref 28874)
• We fixed an issue where Processing Scripts would error if they were running when Redshift was taken down as part of its weekly Maintenance Window. Processing Scripts now retry automatically once the Maintenance Window is complete. (Ref 16290)

Minor Improvements & Bugs Squashed

• Date selection across the application now uses a single, standardised date picker and date-range picker. Anywhere you previously saw the older date field, including user profiles, reports, and filters, you will now see the same calendar interface and behaviour. The legacy picker has been retired. Saved dates and existing configurations are unaffected. (Ref 27463)
• Pop-up dialogs are moving to a new shared component with improved screen-reader support, including proper dialog roles and automatic focus handling. The first place you will see this is the Admin Reports export dialog, where the date picker now opens and closes cleanly inside the pop-up instead of being cut off or dismissing early. (Ref 28989)
