The Storyboard Settings tab is where you can name your Storyboard, add or edit a description, toggle the display widget on or off, and copy your Storyboards.

There are two ways to open the Settings tab in either:

  • Storyboard Library view, or

  • Storyboard screen.

1. Open the Storyboard Library through the Storyboards tab on the main navigation bar.

Quick tip: Copying a custom Storyboard enables you to quickly create multiple sets of data visualizations using your selected settings.

** We go into detail about to use the copy function to Create a New Storyboard in the next part of this series **

Display widget filter - in the Storyboard Settings tab only

Widget filter labels will show all the roles and people filtered to see each tile on your Storyboard. Widget filter labels are automatically set to On for all users, but you can choose to turn them Off as necessary such as when taking screenshots of Storyboards to share with others.

Slide the toggle to Off and then click Save. Your widget filter labels will no longer be visible on your Storyboard. When you’ve finished taking your screenshots, return to this tab and reset the widget filter label toggle back to On.

Quick tip: We highly recommend keeping the widget filter label On to assist troubleshooting.

Org Chart

Admins and users who have added the Org Chart tile to a Storyboard can use the Action button to;

  1. Explore the Org Chart

  2. Pin to Home Page, or
