Zero Result in Calculated Measures

Quick explanation of what happens when the denominator for a calculated measure is zero (0).

Unlike Excel, where you will get an error (#Div/0!) when dividing by a denominator that is zero (0), the One Model platform will show a zero (0) result for the calculated measure.

Below is an example, showing the calculated Net Hire Ratio measure for 2015 where the number of Terminations is 1 and the number of Hires is 0.

The 2015 Net Hire Ratio which is calculated as Hires (1) divided by Terminations (0) shows as 0.0.
