Admin reports help you to manage your product configuration, users and security. Simply enable the permission then access the dedicated admin page to select a report and download to a .CSV file.
Admin reports currently available include;
- Metrics
- Dimensions
- Table and Column Labels
- Permissions and Application Access Roles
- Users and Roles
- Users and Roles (delimited) - original report
- Metrics and Data Access Roles
- Storyboards and Data Access Roles
- Dimensions and Data Access Roles
- Columns and Data Access Roles
- Entity Relationship Information
To see and use the Admin Reports option, Admins must have the CanViewAdminReports permission enabled for their role.
PART ONE: Enable the permission
To enable the permission,

Go to the Admin tab.

Click on Application Access Roles.

Select the Permissions text in the row of your chosen Role.

Check the box alongside CanViewAdminReports.

Click Update Permissions.
Once the permission has been enabled, you will see Admin Report at the bottom of the dropdown menu under the Admin tab, as shown below.
PART TWO: Download your Admin Reports
Select the Admin Report of your choice and click Download to have the .CSV file downloaded straight to your computer.
The Admin Reports available;
Dimensions |
All dimensions delivered on the site with database source table and category. |
Dimensions and Data Access Roles |
All dimensions with the Data Access Roles that have been assigned access. |
Metrics |
All metrics on the site with description, calculation formula, category and sub-category, measure format, precision, decimals, aggregate type, nth percentile, and filters. |
Metrics and Data Access Roles |
All metrics with the Data Access Roles that have been assigned access. |
Permissions and Application Access Roles |
The permissions and Application Access Roles that have been enabled to access these permissions. |
Storyboards and Data Access Roles |
All Storyboards with the Data Access Roles that have been assigned access. |
Table and Column Labels |
All database table names and labels (if alias is used), and all database column names and labels (if alias is used). |
Users and Roles |
All users with their login settings and their assigned Application and Data Access Roles. |
To download your Admin report;

Go to Admin
-
Select Admin Reports
-
Click Download on your chose Admin Report
The download will begin immediately and should appear in your downloads folder of your computer.
Tip: You can sort the list of Admin Reports into alphabetical order by clicking on either Name or Description.
