Welcome to the latest One Model product release update. This article provides an overview of the product innovations and improvements to be delivered on 17 May 2023.
Data Processing Improvements
-
We improved cache warming communication by creating a separate log for each of the 4 steps that run after clear cache: Bulk Insert, Warm Dimensions, Warm Queries, and Site Validation so that users will be able to see what’s actually happening. You can see this information in the Data Loads page. (ref 13690)
-
We added a warning to the SuccessFactors API connector for cases where SuccessFactors returns a different number of records to the count of records that is expected. This usually indicates that the SuccessFactors API User doesn't have the required permissions for the endpoint. (ref 14792)
-
We fixed an issue where the Variable Batch Start Date for the Workday V2 connector could not be set to any date earlier than 2017. (ref 15713)
Minor Improvements & Bugs Squashed
-
We fixed the issue with some users with the “CanCreateDashboard” permission were unable to save Storyboards if they didn't also have the “CanPublishDashboard” permission. The need for the “CanPublishDashboard” permission has been removed and this fix was patched to the production environment on May 11, 2023. (ref 16076)
-
We fixed an error with the Snowflake Data Destination connector and patched this to the production environment on May 11, 2023. (ref 16061)
-
We fixed an issue with time filtering and time selection on Single Value Storyboard tiles where the filter wasn’t being properly applied to drill-through detailed lists for the Single Value tile. (There was no security issue here as all data was still within the scope of the user’s permissions, it was just not filtering as precisely as intended in this use case.) (ref 15512)
-
We fixed an issue where some users were unable to download the Admin Report - Users and Roles because of the volume of data. We have optimized the queries for this and will look at doing the same for other Admin Reports in a future release. (ref 15894)
-
We fixed an issue where there was different data shown in a Storyboard list tile from the Explore page. The Storyboard list tile and the Explore page now depict the same data. (ref 15911)
-
We fixed an issue with user uploads where the upload command needed to skip over some parameters. (ref 15922)
