New Features & Innovations
Search within a single analytical dimension level
Search is an important part of our vision for simplifying the user experience and this small feature is part of that journey. We have added an option to search for a node within an analysis dimension when you have a long list of items at a particular level. In the future plan to expand this to be able to search all levels of a dimension.

Improvements to Handling SuccessFactors oData API
Added improvements to how the SuccessFactors SF ODATA API handles large datasets. SuccessFactors recently added support for “Snapshot-based pagination” to support large datasets more effectively, and is in the process of rolling this out across their APIs. One Model now supports this functionality when querying SuccessFactors on the APIs where it is available. We will be seamlessly rolling this out to all our customers who have SuccessFactors APIs as a data source over the next few months.
For more information on the functionality from SuccessFactors, refer to their documentation: Server pagination & Snapshot-based Pagination.
One AI Innovations
This release focused on reproducibility of results by narrowing down the situations in which non-deterministic results can arise. Each situation is now covered in a test.
Bugs, Performance & Platform Improvements
Corrections to Data Pipeline Processing
-
There is no validation/error warning when adding in an Entity Relationship that does not relate to the fact model for which the entity relationship has been added.
-
Corrected an issue where a processing script could pass validation even though it was incorrectly referencing a non-existent column
-
Processing scripts will now show 'types' as defined within the script rather than system generated 'types'.
Performance & Stability
-
Continued stability improvements with system caching.
-
Query performance is a critical element of the user experience and in this release we have delivered a number of performance improvements to improve query run times.
-
Workaround implemented for AWS Redshift ODBC driver bug “Invalid Date Format” where some dates are unable to be read correctly and cause errors in the One Model user interface and in these cases also stop data from being exported. One example of this is a date in this format: 0013-10-13. The workaround will display these entries as a null in the One Model and accordingly also won’t stop data exports, but again these will be displayed as a null in the export.
