Welcome to the latest One Model product release update. This article provides an overview of the product innovations and improvements to be delivered on 6 September 2023.
Data Processing Improvements
- We have improved the performance of the Workday connector by optimizing how we calculate which consolidation tasks need to run. This task was taking many hours to calculate so we have made this much faster. (ref 16782)
- We have also improved the performance of the Earliest Effective Transactions task in our Workday connector by running more requests in parallel rather than just running them one after another. (ref 16703)
User Experience Improvements
- Way back in 2021, we introduced a feature for customers to include emojis in the data flowing through One Model - great for surveys and recruiting data where data can include Thumbs Up/Down. Working with some customers recently on creative Storyboard designs, the idea of using emojis resurfaced so we wanted to remind you that if emojis 😁👌are your jam, then you can use classic emojis in your Storyboards - in the tile titles, in text, and in your data visualizations. - Some users were experiencing slowness with their filter selections in Storyboards leading them to wonder if they had clicked the selector. We updated the user experience so that when you click on a very large filter dimension you get a loading indicator in the panel that confirms your selection and indicates that your selection is loading. You can also delete the filter if required. (ref 16756)
Minor Improvements & Bugs Squashed
- We fixed a bug with a couple of Storyboards that were erroring when users tried to create a copy. We discovered that certain Storyboards were trying to return too many results from the database and timing out before completion, so we made some adjustments, and these Storyboards can be copied again. (ref 17187)
- We fixed a bug where there were inconsistently formatted buttons appearing on the One AI Augmentations page. Now everything is perfectly aligned and looking just as it should. (ref 2484)
- We fixed an issue where the file history page (for files uploaded to One Model) wasn't loading for some customers in our Europe datacenter. The good news is that we fixed the problem and our European users can once again review their uploaded file history. (ref 17126)
- There was a bug with some search settings which resulted in users receiving duplicate nodes in the filter bar or Org Charts. This bug slowed search processing and yielded incorrect results, so we made some changes to eliminate the duplicates. (ref 16302)
