Featured Storyboards Guide

Featured Storyboards is the exciting highlight panel designed to put your most important Storyboards at the front and center of your One Model instance.

Design a collection of Storyboards to share in the Featured Storyboards panel to enable users to quickly explore the data on your key topics such as compensation and benefits, diversity and inclusion, turnover and retention, or key metric trends.

The Featured Storyboards panel will automatically open when you log into your One Model instance or you can set it to auto-hide. But, don’t worry, you can quickly open the Featured Storyboards panel from the icon at the top right of the main navigation bar any time from anywhere in the application.

The Featured Storyboards panel displays only those Storyboards a user has permission to view based on your role-based security settings. Admins will need to ensure they have the Storyboard Administrator permission to add, edit or delete Storyboards in the Featured Storyboards panel.

Permissions

There are two permission levels;

  1. Admin
    1. Administrators with the Application Access Permission 'Storyboard Administrator' can edit the Featured Storyboards panel. Storyboard Administrators will be able to see and configure all the Featured Storyboard Cards, however access to the storyboards are still permissioned with standard permissions such as:
      • CanCreateDashboards
      • CanEditDashboards
      • CanPublishDashboards
  1. User
    1. Users will need the Application Access Permission ‘CanViewDashboards’ applied to each of the Featured Storyboards to view them. Users without this permission will not be able to view.
    2. Data Access Role permissions govern the actual Storyboards users are able to view based on which roles they are in.
