Release Notes - 2025.04.02

Welcome to the latest One Model product release update. This article provides an overview of the  product innovations and improvements to be delivered on 2 April 2025.

One AI

• Now you can provide your users with guidance directly within One AI Assistant. With the release of configurable intro text, you can tailor an introduction message to suit the needs of your company. This message can contain hyperlinks and the font sizing, alignment, and styling can all be customized. (ref 3786)
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Now that Storyboard Navigation is available in One AI Assistant, we added the capability to include Storyboard example prompts. Administrators can easily configure these prompts, providing another option for driving users to key content in One Model. (ref 3834)
  
  
  
  
• In One AI Assistant Storyboard Navigation, we changed the prompt persisted above the results to be prefixed with the user’s initials rather than Q. (ref 3824)
  
  
• We changed the order in which Storyboard Navigation results are displayed in One AI Assistant to be more intuitive. (ref 3836)
  
  
• We added an additional Insight to One AI Assistant to identify outliers in time series data. (ref 3850)
  
  
  

User Experience Improvements

• We’re excited to introduce Images in Storyboards. This new feature allows Admins to upload and manage images, while Storyboard Designers can position these images alongside data insights, making Storyboards more engaging and informative.  For details on how to use this feature, check out 'Images in a Storyboard & Image Management Guide'. 
  
  

• The OneModel account notification emails have been updated to enhance professionalism and trustworthiness, reducing the likelihood of it being mistaken for spam or phishing. We have incorporated the new One Model brand logo and standardized subject lines across the following emails: (ref 22998)
  •  Account is locked - "Your One Model account is locked"
  •  Password Assistance- "Reset your One Model password"
  •  OneModel Account Created - "Welcome to your new One Model account - Set Your Password"
  •  Confirm OneModel Account Email - "Welcome to your new One Model account - Confirm Your Email"" (internal only)"
    
    
• We added a new search selector to the dropdown menus in the following locations: (ref 20481)
  •  Edit Featured Storyboards
  •  Role Based Cached Storyboards
  •  Copy to Another Storyboard
  •  Replace Storyboard

Start typing in the input box and your matching Storyboards will surface to the top of the list. (ref 20481, 23389, 23390, 23391,23392)

• New in Beta - we have added the foundations for Dynamic Text, an exciting new enhancement that uses smart data and metadata referencing to bring Storyboards to life, aid scalability and improve end-user understanding. More information about how to use Dynamic Text in your Storyboard tile titles, subtitles, and free text tiles is in this Beta Guide. Reach out to your Customer Advisor to enable the feature flag for your users. (ref 20927)

Minor Improvements & Bugs Squashed

• We have resolved an issue where drill-through was available on Sankey Charts even for users without the CanDrillThroughMetrics permission. Now, drill-through access correctly aligns with user permissions. (ref 23333)
  
  
• We have corrected the permission requirements for the "Save to Insight Library" option. Users can now save visualizations if they have CanCreateDashboard permission, CanExplore permission (unless the visualization is an Org Chart), or CanConfigureOrgCharts permission for Org Chart visualizations. (ref 23562)
  
  
• We fixed a bug that occurred when titles containing multiple lines of dynamic text were being crowded so that letters with descenders, ie, the letters g or p, were getting cut off. We increased the line height to ensure all letters are fully visible. (ref 23406)
  
  
• We resolved a bug with forecast notifications being displayed when changing chart options then submitting a new prompt requesting a forecast in One AI Assistant. (ref 3671)
