Release Notes - 2026.01.07

Welcome to the latest One Model product release update. This article provides an overview of the  product innovations and improvements to be delivered on 7 January 2026.

User Experience Improvements

  • We are excited to announce that Share Storyboard with an individual user will be ‘Generally Available’ (GA) in the next release on 21 January. Thank you to our beta testers and we appreciate your feedback to help us improve this feature. Learn more in our Share Storyboard with a User guide.

  • We have added a new Admin Report - Storyboards shared with users and Data Access Roles (DAR). This report enables you to see which Storyboards are shared via DARs or individually (with Share Storyboard with a User, where enabled), including permissions and details of the person who shared the Storyboard. Please refer to the Admin Reports Guide for more information. (ref 22115)

Data Processing Innovations

  • We added a new visual indicator on the Processing Script page to make it clearer whether the current script is in Development, Production, or Post Production. For example:

Data Integration Improvements/Data Source Improvements

  • Enhanced API Data Source Management

We're excited to announce an update that makes setting up and testing API Data Sources significantly easier for more users! The new feature allows a user to copy an API Data Source. This feature was previously only available to the One Model team, but it is now available to any user with the CanCreateDataSource permission.

If you have the CanCreateDataSource permission, you will now see and be able to use the "Copy" button when viewing an API Data Sources' details.

You can now easily duplicate complex data source configurations saving time and reducing setup errors.

Minor Improvements & Bugs Squashed

  • Fixed an issue where Snowflake Data Destinations might error on null Date values.
  • Fixed an issue where dragging a schema, column, or table from the Database Navigator into the SQL pane in SQL Explorer would add a "$0" to the end, causing the SQL to error.
  • The drag-and-drop functionality for Pivoted Columns chips in the Storyboard Define panel has been fixed across all chart types (Basic Chart, Table, Geo Map, and Sankey) by updating the reordering logic to use unique composite IDs (Table ID + Column Name) and ensuring the reorder function is correctly assigned, so users can now reliably rearrange columns—even with identical names from different tables—with changes reflected immediately and persisting after save and reload.
