Release Notes - 2023.10.04

Welcome to the latest One Model product release update. This article provides an overview of the product innovations and improvements to be delivered on 4 October 2023.  

Data Processing Improvements

• We've improved our SuccessFactors V2 connector so that it will pull to the end of time, instead of just to the API Run Start Date. This allows us to capture any existing records that are updated while the API extraction is running, which would otherwise be missed until a later Incremental run picked them up. (ref 17203)

User Experience Innovations

• In the last release notes we announced the new Featured Storyboards and Tile Style capabilities available for beta review by customers.  Thank you to everyone who has shared their valuable feedback and we will be launching these capabilities for all customers in the next release on 18 October 2023.

Minor Improvements & Bugs Squashed

• We fixed an issue where the SuccessFactors V2 connector could error when trying to load certain tables with more than 64 characters in the name.(ref 17268)
• We fixed a bug with the alert message banner in the Branding page where users who had scrolled down the Branding page, would miss the alert message banner at the top of the page. We have rectified this by making the alert message banner sticky to the top of the user’s screen so they can always see alert messages.  (ref 4770)
• We fixed an issue with some of the more complex Storyboard tiles that were leading to extended loading times and causing the entire screen to freeze for a second or more when a user tried to enter the tile menu or delete or duplicate specific tiles. It was particularly noticeable on Storyboard tiles with complex widgets and substantial data points. We improved the performance of the affected tiles by limiting reloading to only those complex tiles rather than all of the tiles in the Storyboard. After the fix, the screen no longer freezes and the delete and duplicate actions happen instantly. (ref 17429)
